The Endothelium-What is it and what does it do?

home-3

Once thought to be inert, over the past few decades Health Professionals and researchers have found that the endothelium performs several major functions including regulating blood flow, blood clotting, barrier to the transvascular diffusion of liquids, vasodilation and vasoconstriction-hence the control of blood pressure, coagulation of blood at the site of a trauma, inflammation and swelling, vascular smooth muscle cell growth. The endothelium which is a single-cell layer thick membrane that lines the circulatory and lymphatic system produces three substances: Nitric Oxide, heparin and prostacyclin. Nitric Oxide is a gas that when produced helps the arterial system to relax which helps to increase blood flow and oxygen carrying potential. When the endothelium is functioning properly then we get a healthy circulatory system with proper blood flow and circulation. But if the endothelium is not working as it should, endothelial dysfunction will occur. Endothelial dysfunction helps lead to cardiovascular diseases and a wide range of other diseases including peripheral artery disease, aneurysm, renal artery disease, blood clots, hypertension, angina, high blood pressure, and atherosclerosis.

How is this related to EDTA Chelation Therapy?

What has been found to be a primary cause of interfering with the function of the Endothelium is the buildup of toxic heavy metals including Mercury, Lead, Aluminum and Arsenic in this important organ. As these toxic heavy metals settle into the Endothelium they disrupt its ability perform its needed functions which in turn leads to many health issues including hardening of the arteries(Atherosclerosis), high blood pressure, Hypertension, Peripheral Neuropathy, Sexual Dysfunction and many others.

What can you do to help?

-Remove as many contact points with toxic heavy metals as possible.
-Exercise on a consistent basis to help your body remove toxins and improve your circulatory system.
-Remove the toxic heavy metals that have already settled into the Endothelium.

Relatively unknown the Endothelium is a very important part of our lymphatic and circulatory system and has a big influence on our overall health. So it is imperative for us to help the Endothelium function as well as possible. The most effective way to remove heavy metals from the Endothelium is to use an EDTA Chelation product that binds with the helps to remove them. The most effective EDTA Chelation product on the market today is KelaminHM EDTA suppositories. The EDTA in KelaminHM stays in your body up to times longer than EDTA from an I.V. and is much safer so you do not need the blood tests to test for liver and kidney function. Also the EDTA in KelaminHM is up to 95% absorbed directly into the circulatory system via the Hemorroidal Veins as opposed to 5% with Oral EDTA products.
